Dancing With The Stars 7 Cast Rumors Circulating

If even half of the names circulating as celebrity cast members for Dancing With The Stars 7 turn out to be accurate, then the hit ABC show might have its best cast ever. One of the biggest names that has been tied to the upcoming season of the show is former ‘N Sync member Lance Bass. Not only is speculation over Lance Bass appearing on the show running rampant, but there are also rumors that he might be paired with a male dancer.

While American Idol might be FOX’s hottest show, it seems some people associated with the show are also eager to be part of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Paula Abdul voiced her desire to take part in the show awhile back, but here participation seems unlikely given her present position as a judge on a competing network.

According to OK! Magazine, Former American Idol Kellie Pickler has also said that she would like to be on the show. Pickler getting picked for Dancing With The Stars is much more probable, since she is no longer tied to American Idol. Plus, producers likely would see Pickler as a cast member that could help them bring in younger viewers for the show.

Athletes have always done well on Dancing With The Stars, so it is no wonder that more athletes are clamoring to be cast on the show. Professional football player Warren Sapp has reportedly been approached by producers to appear on the show, and the St. Petersburg Times quoted him as saying that he would probably do the show. Bodybuilder and actor Lou Ferrigno has made his interest in the show publically known several times. With the Incredible Hulk movie putting the actor back in the spotlight, it just might be the year for the Hulk to go Dancing With The Stars.

While ABC has yet to confirm the names of any celebrities as cast members for Dancing With The Stars 7, ABC did recently announce the official premiere date for the show. Dancing With The Stars 7 will premiere on Monday, September 22 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET. A special performance show will also air on Tuesday, September 23 from 9 PM to 11 PM, and the first results show will air on Wednesday, September 24 from 9 PM to 10 PM.

Kellie Pickler sets September release of new CD

Posted by Lindsay | Uncategorized | Saturday 19 July 2008 3:52 am

av.pngFriday, July 18, 2008 – Kellie Pickler did quite well with her “Small Town Girl” debut, and now she’ll try to follow-up that with her self-titled, sophomore album on Sept. 30.”I’m so excited and proud of the new album,” said Pickler. “The material on the new album is part small town girl, but also a reflection of the experiences I’ve had over the last two years. I’ve matured, some, seen a lot more of the world, and naming the album Kellie Pickler says, ‘this album is me, this is who I am and where I am.’”

The lead single, “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful,” is an uptempo, positive message about inner beauty and addresses the issues of body image and societal pressures on young women. Other songs include “Best Days Of Your Life,” a song she co-wrote with Taylor Swift while on the road together last year. Swift also sang background vocals on the song.

The album will also feature “Rocks Instead Of Rice,” a song Pickler wrote with “Before He Cheats” writers Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear and has been performing on the road this summer. It’s a tongue in cheek look at a woman at the wedding of a former boyfriend and how much more gratifying the experience would be if the guests were throwing rocks instead of rice.

Produced by Chris Lindsey, this album involved Pickler more, according to her publicist. With “Small Town Girl,” Pickler was on the American Idol Tour, cutting her participation. With “Kellie Pickler,” she’s worked with Lindsey on arrangements, instrumentation and song selection.

Pickler is touring this summer. She also will co-host and perform on the CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, which will air on Sept. 8 on ABC.

John Rich of Big & Rich tells us how Gretchen Wilson went from bartender to singer at Nashville?s legendary honky tonks, while Taylor Swift sings in an impromptu street performance and signs autographs at the Fan Fair Exhibit Hall. Meanwhile, certain fans are surprised to learn that they?ve been chosen for a ?lucky day? meet and greet with their favorite Country star; Kellie Pickler spends some time with Nick Manciero from Bethany, Conn., Rob Levasseur from East Hartford, Conn. and Dan Orlowski from Woodbridge, Conn.; Faith Hill surprises her biggest fans Juliette Warren and David Newton from Australia and Keith Urban meets Alex Hamel, Stephanie Hayward, and Cara Corbett from Toledo, Ohio.
